Ozempic Weight Loss Calculator

Calculate the weight change you have actually recorded while using Ozempic. Enter your starting and current weights to see the difference, percentage change and optional past weekly average.

Calculate recorded weight change

Calculate your recorded change

Enter two weights to see the change you have already recorded. Add weeks or a goal if useful.

i

Choose pounds or kilograms. Use the same unit for both weights and an optional goal.

i

Your measured weight at the start of the period you want to review. This does not have to be the day you started medication.

lb
i

Your most recent measured weight, in the same unit as your starting weight.

lb
i

The whole number of weeks between your starting and current weight measurements. This gives a past average change per week, not a future forecast.

i

A weight you want to compare with your current progress, in the selected unit. This tool shows simple distance-to-goal math and does not suggest an appropriate clinical target.

About this result: It reports only the weights you enter. It cannot identify the cause of a change or predict future results. Discuss weight changes, goals and treatment decisions with your clinician.

A QUICK WALKTHROUGH

How the Ozempic Weight Loss Calculator works

Use measured change to review progress, without assuming a medication effect.

  1. Use two real measurements

Enter your starting and current weights using the same unit.

  2. Calculate the percentage change

The difference is divided by starting weight, making it easier to review change relative to your baseline.

  3. Add weeks between measurements

An optional elapsed interval shows a past average per week. It does not predict the next week.

  4. Review an optional goal

See the distance remaining and progress from your starting weight. The tool does not recommend a target.

Measure your Ozempic progress without guessing a future weight

The calculator uses your own weight entries, not a dose-response formula. For example, starting at 220 lb and later measuring 209 lb means 11 lb lost, or 5%. Over ten weeks that is a past average of 1.1 lb per week. If weight increases, the result reports a gain instead of hiding it. These differences cannot tell us which part of a change was caused by medication.

Ozempic trial weight changes are context, not targets

The U.S. Ozempic label describes a 40-week trial in adults with type 2 diabetes taking metformin with or without a sulfonylurea. Mean weight changes were 5.6 kg loss in the 1 mg arm and 6.4 kg loss in the 2 mg arm; the between-arm weight difference was not statistically significant. These are not personal forecasts or reasons to change dose. U.S. Ozempic indications do not include weight management.

Read the Ozempic U.S. prescribing information.

Percentage loss and distance to your goal

Percentage loss = (starting weight − current weight) ÷ starting weight × 100. Past weekly change = weight change ÷ elapsed weeks. With an optional goal below your starting weight, progress is the share of your starting-to-goal distance already covered, capped between 0% and 100%. Reaching or passing the goal shows zero remaining. This calculator neither evaluates whether a goal is appropriate nor estimates an arrival date.

Weight tracking is separate from Ozempic dose calculations

Your dose is not an input because this page measures an existing change rather than estimating a drug effect. A weight trend cannot verify a prescription, calculate pen clicks or choose an injection amount. Keep medication questions with your pharmacist or prescriber, and bring a dated record of measurements to discussions about progress.

Ozempic Weight Loss Calculator FAQs

How do I calculate my percentage weight loss on Ozempic?

Subtract current weight from starting weight, divide the difference by starting weight and multiply by 100. A change from 220 lb to 209 lb is 11 lb, or 5%.

How much weight will I lose on Ozempic in one month?

This calculator cannot predict that. It reports your entered measurements and optionally their past weekly average, not an expected monthly treatment response.

Does the Ozempic calculator work for 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg and 2 mg?

Recorded weight-change arithmetic does not depend on dose. The tool can calculate the difference between two weights but does not assess any dose or recommend changing it.

Why is my weekly average different from last week's change?

The weekly average divides the full change between two measurements by elapsed weeks. It does not show each week's individual change.

What if I have gained weight while taking Ozempic?

Enter the measurements as they are. The calculator reports a gain and its percentage. It cannot diagnose the cause or determine what treatment changes, if any, are appropriate.

Can I calculate progress toward an Ozempic weight goal?

An optional goal shows the remaining weight difference and the portion of your starting-to-goal distance covered. It does not recommend that goal or predict when you will reach it.

Is an Ozempic study average my expected result?

No. Trial groups and individual users differ. The study context below is not used to calculate your recorded change.

Can I save my weights and injections in GLP Buddy?

Yes. GLP Buddy tracks Ozempic injections, weight and symptoms. Entries in this browser calculator are not saved to the app.
