1. Information we collect
When you use GLP Buddy, you may provide your name or nickname, medication type, dose and schedule, injection or pill logs, weight, meals and nutrition logs, symptoms, preferences and other information you choose to enter. We may also collect device and operating system information, app version, anonymous usage information and crash information to keep the app working. Some features may be limited if you choose not to provide certain information.
2. Optional email address
An email address is not required for core tracking features. If you provide one, we may use it for progress reports, health insights, product updates or support. You can unsubscribe from optional emails through the link in the message or by contacting us.
3. Email services
We use Resend to deliver progress-report emails and Beehiiv for GLP Pulse emails. These services process the information needed to send those messages. You can stop receiving optional emails at any time.
4. Health and wellness information
Medication schedules, weight, nutrition and other health-related entries are used to provide your personal tracking experience. We do not sell health data, use it for advertising or share it for marketing. GLP Buddy is not a medical provider, and its information is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
5. How we use information
- Provide tracking, reminders, reports and insights you request.
- Sync your information across devices when that feature is available to your account.
- Maintain security, fix errors and improve stability and usability.
- Respond to support, privacy and deletion requests.
We do not use your health information for targeted advertising.
6. Storage and security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations or resolve legitimate issues. Optional email information remains while your subscription to those messages is active or until you request removal, subject to applicable retention requirements.
7. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate GLP Buddy under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review or update information in the app, unsubscribe from optional emails, and request access to or deletion of your account and associated data. To delete your account, follow the steps on our data deletion page. For other privacy requests, contact hello@glpbuddy.com.
9. Account and data deletion
Deleting an account removes associated personal and health-tracking data as described on our data deletion page. Limited anonymized analytics and records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons may remain. Those retained records are not used to restore your deleted tracking account.
10. Children
GLP Buddy is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
11. Service providers
Our service providers include Beehiiv for optional email content, Resend for email delivery and PostHog for anonymous product analytics. We do not send personal health logs to PostHog. Other providers may support storage and crash reporting. We require providers to protect information they process for us.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and, when appropriate, notify you in the app.
