Made for the tablet routine

What does an oral
Wegovy tracker do?

GLP Buddy is an oral Wegovy tracker app for iPhone and Android. It lets you log daily semaglutide tablets, review a seven-day adherence history and keep symptoms, weight and wellness entries in the same journal.

This page is about the Wegovy pill, not the weekly injection. The daily record has pill-specific wording, without injection sites or a weekly shot countdown. For the wider brand overview, visit the Wegovy tracker page.

Know what the record does not time

A pill entry and a
waiting period are different.

A journal entry records an action. It does not automatically track every instruction around that action.

U.S. label context

The Wegovy label describes a once-daily morning tablet on an empty stomach, with no more than 4 ounces of plain water, followed by at least 30 minutes before food, beverages or other oral medicines. Tablets are swallowed whole.

Keep the clock separate.

Use a separate clock or timer if you need help keeping track of the interval in your instructions. Do not assume that a GLP Buddy pill entry starts an in-app fasting countdown.

Keep uncertainty visible.

If breakfast, coffee or another medicine interrupted the plan, note what happened for your pharmacist or prescriber. A log cannot check absorption or tell you to repeat a tablet.

The entry worth getting right

A tablet record.
Not a translated shot log.

Use the form of Wegovy on your prescription. The number of milligrams is one part of the entry, not a conversion between a pill and an injection.

GLP Buddy keeps daily pill history distinct from weekly injection tracking. Keep each day accurate instead of filling a week in advance.

Product and form
Select Wegovy tablets for oral Wegovy. A pen record is not the right place for a tablet.
Prescribed strength
Record the tablet strength you actually took. A prescription change is a reason to check the entry, not to calculate a new dose in the app.
Completed day
Mark a pill after taking it, rather than when you intend to take it. Use the seven-day history to review the entries you made.
Unknown details
If you cannot confirm a past entry, do not replace the uncertainty with a guess. Ask your pharmacist about an uncertain dose.

Take these questions to your pharmacist

Build a plan for
your actual morning.

The most useful plan accounts for your other prescriptions, your wake-up time and the situations that make the routine difficult.

OTHER MEDICINES

“Where do my other tablets fit?”

Bring a current list, including nonprescription products and supplements. Ask your pharmacist to explain the sequence for your specific medicines. GLP Buddy does not screen for interactions or create that sequence.

A MISSED OR INTERRUPTED DAY

“Which instructions apply to this situation?”

Use the tablet-specific missed-dose guidance in the current leaflet and contact your care team when unsure. Do not borrow the injection's rules or use a later food log as proof that you took the pill.

A DIFFERENT WAKE-UP TIME

“How should I handle this change?”

A night shift or travel can change what morning looks like. Discuss your circumstances before improvising a schedule. A calendar date in your journal is not a personalized dosing interval.

Oral semaglutide can affect the absorption of other medicines. MedlinePlus patient information explains why your care team needs the full medication list.

GLP Buddy food logging screen with photo, voice and text options
A general GLP Buddy food-logging screen, not the Wegovy pill view or a medication timer.

Once the morning is underway

Make room for
the rest of the day.

Log a meal by photo, voice or text, add water, or check in on hunger and food noise. These records are optional companions to your pill history, not a test you must complete.

If nausea or another symptom becomes part of the day, record the intensity and what you noticed. A symptom note is useful context, but timing does not establish its cause.

Keep weight entries over time when they are helpful to your goals. Neither a single weigh-in nor a busy week of logging tells you whether to change your prescription.

See how symptom journaling works ↗

Use your journal.
Keep your care team close.

Seek prompt medical help for ongoing severe abdominal pain, and emergency help for breathing difficulty or swelling of the face or throat. Do not wait to finish an entry. Read the oral semaglutide patient information and the Wegovy Medication Guide for warnings and precautions.

Looking at another treatment? The semaglutide tracker guide covers product identity, while the Foundayo tracker describes a different oral GLP-1 medication. Those pages do not provide a switching or combination plan.

Oral Wegovy tracker FAQs

A few things
worth clearing up.

Is there a Wegovy pill tracker for iPhone and Android?

Yes. GLP Buddy supports daily Wegovy tablet records on iPhone and Android. Its pill-specific medication view includes a seven-day adherence history, alongside weight, symptoms, food and water tracking.

Does a pill log also start a fasting countdown?

Do not assume that logging a tablet starts a timer. This page describes daily pill logging, not an in-app fasting timer. Use a separate clock or timer if needed, and follow your product instructions and pharmacist’s advice about the waiting period.

What does the 30-minute wait mean for oral Wegovy?

The U.S. label describes a wait of at least 30 minutes after the morning tablet before food, beverages or other oral medicines. A completed app entry cannot confirm that the wait was followed or measure how much medicine was absorbed. Read the current label for the full instructions.

Can I use the weekly injection planner for Wegovy tablets?

No. The website’s dose day planner displays a prescribed weekly injection schedule. Oral Wegovy needs a daily pill record instead. Do not turn a weekly shot date into a tablet schedule or use an injection amount as a tablet amount.

What if I already logged the pill but cannot remember taking it?

An entry is not independent proof that you swallowed a tablet. Check reliable information and ask your pharmacist or prescriber how to proceed if you remain uncertain. Do not take another tablet simply to make the record feel certain.

Can GLP Buddy tell me how to fit other morning medicines around Wegovy?

No. Your pharmacist or prescriber needs to review your actual medication list and product instructions. GLP Buddy is a personal journal, not a medication-interaction checker or a scheduler for other prescriptions.

Can I review appetite without logging every meal?

Yes. Hunger and food noise check-ins are separate from food logging. You can record how the day felt without creating a complete meal diary. Neither a hunger rating nor a calorie total determines your next prescribed dose.

How should I prepare for an oral Wegovy follow-up?

Identify the dates you want to discuss, the tablet strengths you recorded, and any symptoms or practical difficulties. Bring the prescription or product details and questions about your routine. The app can organize your entries, but cannot decide whether your treatment should change.
